Bishop Monkton school has received government funding to cover a one-off universal catch-up program for the 2020-2024 academic years. The purpose of this funding is to support pupils to catch up lost learning caused by school closures during the Cornavirus pandemic.
Plans are based on our assessment of which pupils most need to access additional support and will benefit most. A blended range of activities to target literacy and numeracy, including small group or 1:1 tuition delivered by familiar teaching staff, online catch-up programmes and access to the National Tutoring Programme.
