The children will recieve a Punctuation and Grammar 'mat' each Thursday. Please ensure that these are completed and brought into school to be marked together the following Thursday.
Top tips: If there are any terms that the children need reminding of, please explore these together using an internet search engine. There are a vast amount of grammar terms. Whilst the children will have met them all, the terms may have fallen out of their working memory and may not have stuck in their long term memory...yet. This is fine. The more the terms are revisitied, the more they will become embedded in their long term memory.
Also, it is crucial that any written punctuation is done so carefully and neatly. If for instance, a comma is put in casually, please ask them to redraw it very carefully.
