World Book Day 2026
For World Book Day 2026, our school celebrated in a wonderfully creative way by dressing up as words to highlight the power of vocabulary. Each class enjoyed exciting book-themed activities: Kites and Kestrels took part in a fun book scavenger hunt, Owls created fantastic graphic novels based on the legendary Hercules, Robins designed colourful bookmarks, and Wrens were delighted by a special visit from some of the Year 4/5 children. During our World Book Day assembly, we challenged ourselves with a mysterious front cover quiz, and Mrs Filippi introduced us to a fantastic selection of brand-new books for the library. It was a brilliant day full of imagination, reading, and celebration of stories! 📚
