Year 5 Examples of excellent writing

The intention of this piece of writing, was to write from a particular perspective. In this case, it was a seal who was watching Danny a mountain biker, arrive at the seal’s home. What advice would he give, should he be warned of what he might find, will he love the seal’s home?

This is an exceptional standard of writing. The intent and purpose is clear. It has been executed with sound grammar, spelling and punctuation skills. The vocabulary is powerful and carefully chosen. The handwriting is controlled all the way through.

This fact sheet is planned carefully to help the reader access the information. The chosen facts are interesting and clearly understood. The illustrations, titles and bullet points help the reader. It is easy to read and edited very carefully for punctuation, grammar and spelling errors.
