Welcome to Kingfishers!

We are Year 3 and Year 4. Our teachers are Mrs Filippi, Mrs Claughton, Mrs Coupland and Mrs Verrill 

Our Autumn PE days are Monday and Wednesday. On a Monday we will be learning with Mr Coupland outside if possible! On a Wednesday we will be dancing with Sam in the hall.

We enjoyed our Einstein day so much that we decided to extend our learning by watching some clips from Brian Cox about gravity. The children drew pictures in response.

We had a fantastic morning finding out about Albert Einstein and trying to get our heads around some of his theories by completing investigations! 17.6.21

20.11.20 Today we have been learning about light and shadows. We tested different materials to see if they were opaque, transparent or translucent. At the end of the lesson we had some fun using our opaque hands to make shadow animals.
